Thank you for your hard work and support! Thank you to my amazing wife for her love and support through this long journey! I don't tell you nearly enough but I love ya to the moon and back! A huge congratulations to Chad McBride! While he may not have been your pick he will be our next sheriff! My challenge to you is to rally behind him and support his mission for our county! Thank each of you again and let's work together to make Anderson a safer place!

A huge thank you from me and my family for your love, support, and assistance throughout this campaign! A big thank you to my wife and children for all of the long days and nights with and without me while I went around this county getting to know a little more about you and your concerns! Last, but not least I thank God for his grace and mercy on each of our lives and for allowing me to be a part of this honorable profession of serving others! I hope that throughout this campaign I have conducted myself in a manner and provided you with information that you find deserving of your vote! Regardless of the outcome I am honored to even have the chance at being elected as your sheriff and if elected I make a promise of offering you 100%, 100% of the time!

Today marks the final day to go and cast an absentee ballot! It is vital to this election that if you will not be able to vote tomorrow that you do so today! This can be done at 301 N. Main St (old Bank of America building downtown). I want and need your support as we move to make great things happen for Anderson County!

We are down to the last few days! With all of the hard work and sacrifices that I as well as my family has put into the campaign, I really do want to win it. But more importantly I hope that you join me in praying that God's will is done, not only in this race but all the other elections. These are decisions that do not just affect me as an individual, but our county, state, and nation as a whole! Prayerfully consider your choice and we all will win!

Somewhere along the way our sheriff's office has wandered away from its mission. The mission of customer service, crime prevention, good stewards of tax dollars, and so much more. It is my goal to bring the professional service that each one of you deserves back to the agency! Please remember if Tuesday is not an option for you there is still time to vote absentee. I feel like over the past several months I have provided you with plenty of information (some of it my opinion, much of it factual) as to why you should not vote for Skipper. I hope at the same time I have provided you more than enough information as to why you can trust me with your vote. We are rapidly winding the campaign down so now I want to encourage you to be sure to not only get out and vote for Pickens, but find a friend to take with you! Good Morning Anderson,
My wife's family live just across the state line in Stephen's County, GA. It's hilarious and sad at the same time going to visit her grandmother and hearing her talk about "how dangerous it is over there in Anderson!" I say that to tell you we are perceived by those from the outside looking in as a violent area. This effects us in so many ways! This turns away new families and businesses and even worse causes many that call this place home to leave. I need your help in turning this county around! While it begins at the polls on June 14th it goes much deeper! Your ideas, information, and support of a group of employees who are being restricted from proactively policing your communities today will bring a difference to our county tomorrow!
