Friends of The Park - Anderson County

Friends of The Park - Anderson County Make a difference for children in Anderson! Currently, Kid Venture is not ADA compliant & has several safety concerns.

Community group focused on raising funds to purchase new equipment for the parks of Anderson & rallying volunteer support to clean & beautify the playgrounds of Anderson County. Our community playground, Kid Venture at Chris Taylor Park (located on the grounds of the Anderson Sports & Entertainment Complex), is in need of updating to keep it fun, safe & inviting for our children. rk - Kid Venture 2.0 has partnered with Rotary Club of Anderson & Anderson County both to raise funds to upgrade equipment & to give members of the community the opportunity to take part in making this a magnificent play area once again.
***Our initial mission is almost complete with funding being obtained for the final phase of construction. We will now turn our attention to other parks in the County that need love too.
