Wildfire activity increased yesterday in Oklahoma with emergence of some large fires (greater than 300 acres) with near-critical fire weather over heavy, dormant fuel loading. Today, another dry cold front will move through Oklahoma and elevated fire weather will develop in areas of western Oklahoma. The extending dry stretch and above normal temperatures will continue to hold fire danger in place. Please do your part to prevent wildfires!
