DC politicians are once again turning their backs on us. Denying disaster relief for displaced Alaskans whose entire villages were wiped out by Typhoon Halong is completely unacceptable.

Another example of Dan Sullivan’s failed leadership.

The Trump administration has denied Alaska’s request for a larger federal cost share for disaster recovery efforts following devastation wrought by the remnants of Typhoon Halong in Western Alaska last fall.

Nobody should have to spend a lifetime working, saving, and doing everything right only to be forced to drain their savings just to afford basic necessities.

We need leaders who fight for working people, not their corporate sponsors.

The drawdown threatens to slow the economy’s growth if it continues.
