This week the entire staff of the Water & Pollution Control Department took time to reflect on the critical nature of our mission. In particular, we talked at great length about the "trust agreement" we have with our customers and ways we can preserve and strengthen that relationship.

There was also some competitive team building time as small groups raced to construct the tallest "water tower" they could fashion out of some truly random materials (straws, chewing gum, paper clips, string, push pins, Band-aids, and others). To win, they had to be the tallest free-standing tower capable of holding 8 ounces of water for at least 30 seconds. The winning height: 34.75"!
