I encourage everyone to take a few minutes to read through the questionnaire from East Idaho News, they asked some great questions that highlight important topics for our community.

For those who may not have heard, my opponent has officially withdrawn from the mayoral race. Although his name will still appear on the ballot, he has decided to pursue a different path.

As always, I’m happy to answer any questions or hear any thoughts you may have. Community input is what keeps American Falls strong, and I truly value the opportunity to connect with you all.

Hello everyone! It’s been a few weeks since my last update, and I wanted to take a moment to share what’s been happening both within the City of American Falls and with my campaign.

October 1 marked the start of the new fiscal year, and I’m proud to say that 2025 was a strong and successful year for the city. As we move into 2026, there are several exciting projects underway, both large and small. Our major focus continues to be the multi-year water infrastructure project. We recently went out to bid for the third and final phase, which includes the distribution lines, and we expect to announce the awarded contractor within the next week or two.

On the campaign side, things have taken an unexpected but positive turn. While I had been in the process of designing and ordering campaign signs, my opponent chose to withdraw from the race. Though his name will still appear on the ballot, he has officially stepped aside. In light of that, I decided to forgo campaign signs this season and instead focus my time on more direct, hands-on engagement. Over the past few weeks, I’ve met with several local organizations and community groups, listening, answering questions, and having great discussions about our city’s future.

I’m looking forward to continuing those conversations in the weeks ahead and, more importantly, long after the election.

I was born and raised in American Falls and so was my wife, Mariah. We are high school sweethearts and will celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary on December 1st. We are raising our kids, Harper and Huxson in this town we love so much just like our parents did for us. It is awesome to watch them attend the same schools we both attended as kids. My family is a huge motivation in what I do and I commit to making our community a great place for you to raise yours, as well.

When I’m not at city hall, you’ll probably find me in the field. As a 4th generation Power County farmer, I’m lucky enough to farm my own ground and run a trucking company. It’s a family effort with my brother as my partner, my parents still helping out and my wife running everything behind the scenes. Owning my own businesses gives me the freedom to fulfill my mayoral duties whenever I need to make it a priority. I’m dedicated to the City of American Falls and am hoping I get to make it a priority for the next 4 years as well.
