🌿 Big opportunity for local teens, and one I’m especially proud to share.

I’ve supported the American Canyon Community & Parks Foundation since day one, and their Teen WILD Leadership Program continues to be one of the coolest investments we make in our future leaders.

This year-long program gives teens hands-on experience in environmental education, conservation, community service, and leadership, plus some pretty amazing outdoor adventures along the way. It’s where confidence grows, friendships form, and a lifelong love for the outdoors can begin.

If you know an incoming 9th–12th grader in Napa or Solano County, encourage them to take a shot and apply.

⏳ Applications are open now through May 8.

🎶 Kaskade! In! American! Canyon! 🎶

If you told me years ago that one of the greatest electronic artists of our time would be performing less than a mile from my house, I wouldn’t have believed you. And yet—here we are. KASKADE is coming to our town on September 13th as part of his new “undux” experience at the Napa Valley Ruins & Gardens (our very own emerging town center!).

Not many folks know this, but one of the big reasons I ran for City Council was to help get a town center going. It had been stuck in neutral for nearly 20 years. We finally approved it in 2019, and now, six years later, the vision is starting to take shape. Slowly but surely, the Napa Valley Ruins & Gardens is becoming a real destination—food, wine, art…and now, world-class music.

And for me personally? This is huge. I’ve been following Kaskade for years. I’m not just a fan—I’m a longtime electronic music genre listener and former DJ myself, and seeing someone like him choose our city for something this special? Totally surreal.

This isn’t just a concert. It’s a moment. Come experience it with us. 🌅

As we reach the culmination of this incredible journey, we want to come together with everyone who has supported, believed in, and inspired this campaign. Election night is not just about the results but about the progress, the hard work, and the vision we share for a stronger American Canyon.

We started with tacos, so we're ending it the best way we know how - with more tacos! Whatever the outcome, we’re proud of how far we’ve come and grateful for each one of you who made this possible.

Bring your family, friends, and community spirit! We look forward to celebrating with you.

Event is free but donations are always welcome, even if it's just the cost of your tacos. :-)

No host bar. A limited number of tacos will be served. RSVP strongly appreciated but not required.

Congratulations to American Canyon Bike Shop on their two-year anniversary. It's great to hear from proprietors Steve and Julia that business is going well. For bike repairs or custom fittings, this is the shop to visit. Nice catching up with friend Gregory Kearns and seeing candidates Elmer Andrei Manaid and future state senator Christopher Cabaldon there too.
