Had a great visit today with Congressman Rep. Jake Ellzey and District Director Julie Loose! I truly appreciate them taking the time to sit down, listen, and discuss some of the issues and opportunities facing our city, Johnson County, and the 6th District.

It’s great to have people who genuinely care about the communities they represent. I look forward to continuing to build this relationship and working together to make sure our local needs and priorities have a strong voice at the federal level in Washington, D.C.!

Attending the Texas Municipal League’s conference in Austin for newly elected officials. I’m looking forward to learning, connecting, and gaining valuable insight into how I can better advocate for our city and the people we serve. It was also great running into fellow council member Cherry Bryant!
