Environmental Studies Alumnus Presentation--TODAY!
Monday, April 23rd, 1:30-2:30 pm 138 Hawthorn

Garrett Harris, Environmental Scientist at McCormick Taylor an Environmental Consulting Company and ENVST alumnus will be visiting campus to talk about his career since graduation. Please join us at his talk entitled, "Experiences and Opportunities in Environmental Consulting."

Hello All!

Tomorrow's rescheduled Earth Week campfire will be cancelled due to the burning ban currently in place in Altoona. I apologize for the inconvienece.

On a high note, the Earth Week festivities are not over! I hope to see everyone at the Spring Run Clean-up and at Green Songs occuring at 1:30 pm in the Titelman Lounge in Misciagna.

Today Dr. Julian led a Salamander walk through Seminar forest. Despite sub optimal conditions, we saw some dusky, red back, and lead back salamanders.

Have you heard the news??

On the last Thursday of each month, ENVST faculty are going to lead some activities in the outdoors during Common Hour. This week, Dr. Todd Davis is going to take folks on a walk through the Seminar Forest and talk about those fabulous trees that are starting to turn colors, and help us express the experience through poetry. We'll meet around 12:10 at the fire ring by
Thoreau's Cabin on Becker's Lane (the street across from the Sheetz Health and Wellness Center on Juniata Gap Road). Weather looks nice on Thursday, sunny and 60's, so it should be a fun time. All are welcome!
