I went to a event Wednesday! We talked about what it means to be an advocate for mental health and mental illness. I'm honored to get to be part of such an amazing organization! When we walked out of the building, there was a rainbow! The perfect ending to the day! 🌈🖤🩶🤍

I went to the Knox County Fair Pageant this weekend and it was a blast! 😁 I had a great time sitting with the Miss Illinois Youth Program pageant girls! I got to see so many pageant friends. All the girls we went to see took home awards and I couldn't be more happy for them! 👑

❤️ Altona Day 2024 in the book! ❤️
I had so much fun Saturday! We road in the parade, collected donations for birthday boxes, did the water balloon fights, drew raffle tickets for Altona American Legion, and finished it off with fireworks!

Miss Illinois Youth Program 's community service project is going to be awesome! 😁
We are putting together birthday boxes to donate to those that wouldn't have birthday cake, balloons, or even a card. 🎂🎈🎉

Accalia and I will be collecting donations next Saturday, June 29th at Altona Day! Catch us in the parade at 11, then come to the park near the fire station where the bounce houses will be from 12:30 - 3:30. We'll have a table and boxes prepared to take in donations of supplies or money to buy supplies! Below is a list of items to donate.👇

My mom and I were walking through the store one day last week and we were talking about a video where people put together birthday boxes, with cake mix, balloons, card, etc. We thought it would be such a cool idea to do to help others. Yesterday, we got told that for Miss Illinois Youth Program pageant's community service project is going to be just that!

Who doesn't love celebrating a birthday!? This is a great opportunity to help kids who might not get to have a birthday party or be celebrated.

Below is a list of items we are collecting from now until pageant weekend, July 12! If you would like to donate some items, or money to purchase items, please let me know!

🎉 Each birthday in a box includes:
(1) Disposable aluminum pan with lid (13x9)
(1) Cake mix (any flavor)
(1) Icing container (any flavor)
(1) Can of Sprite (used in place of eggs, oil, water)
Assorted party favors
Assorted candles
Assorted balloons
Sprinkles and/or other cake decorations
Blank birthday card

This service project is so important to me because I absolutely LOVE celebrating birthdays and think everyone old and young should have a day dedicated to them! Plus… CAKE! 🍰 yum!
