If you applied for the grant, we are almost there. Please see update below:

AERFR Update
Due to the large number of applications for the Altadena Eaton Fire Relief Fund, grants are delayed from the original July 15th estimate. The Advisory Committee has concluded the review of 3,000 applications and has selected Phase 1 recipients who are currently undergoing background checks.
Initial grants, ranging from $500 to $1,000, are pending distribution shortly. The advisory committee is continuing its fundraising efforts and will notify applicants of their status. A second round of grants will occur sometime in September for many of those not selected in Phase 1.
It is important to note that the application window closed on July 6, 2025.

Update: SCE has notified me that the power outage planned for this week on May 17th is cancelled.

This is the exact email I received: "Due to some issues we must cancel the outage that was scheduled for this Wednesday 5/17. Sorry for the inconvenience."

I will let you all know when I receive further information.
