Attn Valley of the Sun and Foxtail Pines property owners! We are piloting a chipping and hauling service for our communities. We worked with the Northwest Fire Department who said these are the most at risk neighborhoods so that's why we are starting here. If successful, we hope to expand the program in coming years. We will pick up and/or haul away the week of Labor Day so make sure your piles are ready to go and sign up on the website! ATTENTION SOUTH PARK PEEPS!!
It's time to kick this fire mitigation off. We're going to be in a high fire season this year, so now is the time to get ready. This is a calling all cars situation, which means whatever your skills are we need your help. We need everyone from tree guys, to homeowners who are willing to help, we're looking for people to help out with writing grants. I want you to get to know your neighbors, we need people to contact every property owner in Park county to inform them of the plan. We need help from anyone in any way they can. This effects all of us, so all of us need to pitch in. If we can go from lot to lot in every neighborhood, we will save this area. load your lot lines at the road and contact me. We have the ability to drop a trailer to load, or just come and pick it up with big trucks. Contractors will be listed on the website for you to call if you need someone. The goal is to do fire mitigation faster than a forest fire. So let's all step up and get this done!!!!! We can do this, we have the people and the machines of a whole area at our disposal. WE WILL NOT BURN DOWN!!

We started burning, this just eats wood. We have lots of logs to repurpose, who wants to split their own firewood.

We did our first test burn today in it's location, very impressive. We're ready so let's get the mitigation party started!!!
