What a awesome turn out for the 2026 Easter Egg Hunt!! Thank you Alger Area Firefighters Station # 15/Moffatt Fire for picking up and delivering the Easter Bunny to the hall. Kids had great time in 3 age groups gathering the eggs.. (Special sparkle eggs got a special prize from the bowling alley). After the hunt kids got to go through and grab their Easter bag of goodies and and toy along with Cookies and punch.. All Kids got a bike drawing ticket for one of their 4 favorite bikes to take home. Parents had a chance to enter a drawing for the craft Easter signs. Thank you Moffatt Twp board for letting us use the fire hall. Thank you, Shell of Alger, Rally’s & Big Boy s, Kim Spencer, Ogemaw Lanes add a big Hoppy thank you to Lee Marx.

As we start planning for Alger Parks and Rec Easter Egg Hunt we will certainly miss our dear Alyce Oertel that we were so blessed to have her as a member and supporter.. She was certainly a piller in this community for all.

What a great day of Alger Parks and Rec Christmas Party with Santa! Crafts, orinments off the tree, presents, drawing for bigger presents, goodies, hats and Gloves, cookies and parents/grandparents got a special thank you for bringing the kids fun and lots of laughs/smiles. Santa even got some pretty sweet pictures.
