A lifelong resident of Lehigh County; I have always had aspirations to serve the public and saw it as my contribution to the community I live in. Much as my upbringing taught me that each generation before me wanted the next to have a better life. As a father of two I have those same convictions to do what is possible so that my children can live in a community that displays more fairness, has mor
e opportunities and is a place where they can dream of greater possibilities for themselves. I had attended both parochial and public school, graduating from William Allen High School. Over the next several years I worked part time and full time while attending LCCC and Kutztown University where I attained a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, then going on and receiving a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Arkansas State University. During my Education I was able to return to William Allen High School where I served as both a security officer and boys varsity volleyball assistant coach and girls varsity head coach. It was my time at William Allen where I was able to mentor the students not just in volleyball but also as a positive example. Not only was I assisting in the students educational experience, but received a valuable lesson myself as I witnessed students, who may have been involved in personal hardships, never let the glimmer of hope become extinguished in their lives. These lessons learned are my motivation for gaining your trust so that I may serve my community. After living in Alburtis now for six years, I do see a need for advancing our community and using what tools are at our disposal. Most importantly, the community of Alburtis has a bond like no where else I have lived, maintaining the strong family values of a small community and truly showing what small towns can do. I will work to make our community grow and prosper as much as I can, while instilling those values in my work and life.
