The Atlanta Outdoor Club (AOC) is an outdoor event-oriented social club established in late 2000. Our focus is offering a wide variety of outdoor events to young-hearted, active adults 21 years of age and older. Whether you are new to the Atlanta area or have lived here your whole life, the AOC is a great way to explore the outdoors of Georgia and the Southeast (and sometimes beyond) with a fun, f

riendly and active group. Atlanta Outdoor Club Social Media Guidelines

Atlanta Outdoor Club’s Kelly Shea recently led an epic weekend of paddling, camping and adventure -- with two kayak events at two different state parks! (Dames Ferry and High Falls State Parks). And just to keep things interesting, the group enjoyed two crazy evening lightning storms, plenty of laughs, great people -- and even a Monday hike to round out the weekend. Twelve Atlanta Outdoor Club members had a great day hiking through some of the best parts of historic Roswell. The city is known for its charming streets, historic homes, shops, art galleries, and trendy restaurants and we passed many of them on this 5.5-mile hike. We also hiked around Vickery Creek, which features a gorgeous waterfall, scenic views of a creek, a covered pedestrian bridge, and historic mill ruins.
