Thanks to the 2020 General Obligation Bond, The University of New Mexico-Gallup has nearly completed Phase I of its Gurley Hall renovation, focused on the Career and Technical Education wing.

The northeastern part of the building has been renovated to create a new welcoming entrance for welding and automotive technology students. The welding workshop has been outfitted with new equipment and welding stations, including enhanced ventilation, lighting and electrical capacity.

Renovations of the automotive workshop are ongoing, including the shop area, the classroom and the Career and Technical Education restrooms.
