Being a U.S. Army Recruiter is not just about finding the perfect candidate, it’s about developing the right candidate. Our U.S. Army Recruiters know that true leadership often starts with overcoming adversity.
For highly motivated individuals who want to serve but fall slightly short of academic or physical enlistment standards, our Recruiters utilize an innovative talent development tool: the Future Soldier Preparatory Course.
Operating out of Fort Jackson, South Carolina, the course allows recruits to focus exclusively on an academic track, improving ASVAB scores through targeted education or a physical fitness track for up to 90 days before heading to basic combat training. Trainees retest every three weeks, and upon meeting the standard, they seamlessly transition into the force with the same incentives and career opportunities as their peers.
