Get informed about your District! District 7 Candidates Forum is an opportunity to hear from your elected official options on September 18

The Democratic Party of Bernalillo County is sponsoring a candidates forum on Saturday, September 18 from 10:00am to 11:30am in the private meeting room at O'Niells Pub on the corner of Washington and Lomas.  If attending in person at O'Niell's, you must be vaccinated and must wear a mask.

The forum will also be conveniently broadcast live on Zoom. Register in advance for this meeting. Virtual room opens at 9:30am Mtn time and can be accessed from the comfort of your own headphones!

Did you know Mauro was the President of the New Mexico Out Business Alliance (Nmoba) for several years?

This is an important organization for our community, and I assured the business members of my support for stream lining regulations in helping to start small businesses!

As an organization, they promote professional development, business diversity, and personal enrichment. As we'll as advancing LGBTQ and allied/supportive businesses and professionals through shared knowledge, leadership, and support. They also connect businesses in Albuquerque and New Mexico, because of the belief that business is built on relationships

I have deep ties in District 7. A large part of my family lives here as our family has for several generations back (15 in my case) 🤷🏾‍♂️

We met them at Twin Parks for National Night Out. This was also a great night as I got to speak with the Albuquerque Heavy Rescue department as hear their valid concerns out in full. We had a lively discussion and I promise to support them as best as I can with training and staffing if elected. They are currently in great need of new recruits and we encourage all interested to apply for AFD. Thank you for all that you do!

Also, we have an event this Friday so mark your calendars for August 6th, doors opening at 5:30 pm!
