📢 New Renter Protections in New Mexico! 🏡✨
Big changes are here with the 2025 update to the Uniform Owner-Resident Relations Act (SB267).

✅ Application fees are capped at $50
✅ Landlords must give 60 days’ notice before raising fees
✅ Late fees limited to 5% of monthly rent (down from 10%)
✅ You have the right to see your screening report
✅ Refunds required if your application is denied or not processed (certain cases).

💡 Remember: If your landlord violates these rules, you have the right to seek legal help.
