A huge thank you to the first responders from Albion and all of our neighboring municipalities for your incredible hard work and dedication during the flooding.
From helping keep people safe on flooded roads to spending countless hours assisting with pumping out what feels like countless basements, your efforts have not gone unnoticed. In moments like these, we are reminded just how fortunate we are to have people willing to step up, serve, and protect our communities without hesitation.
Your long hours, quick response, and commitment to helping others during stressful and difficult situations mean more than words can fully express.
Thank you for showing up for our community. We appreciate you more than you know. 💜

As Election Day approaches, I want to encourage everyone in our community to take a moment and really reflect before casting your vote.
Please don’t be swayed by name-dropping or even offers from candidates or their family members to drive people to the polls. Your vote is important, and it deserves thoughtful consideration.
Instead, take the time to look at the information that has been presented. Look at what has taken place historically in the Village of Albion. Ask yourself where we’ve been and where we want to go.
Because the truth is simple:
Nothing changes if nothing changes.
This election is about choosing the people you believe will show up, listen, and put the work in for our village.
I also encourage residents to talk to the people whose names are being mentioned in Facebook posts, letters, and articles. Ask them directly how they feel about the candidates running and what they believe is best for our community.
The future of Albion belongs to all of us.
Please vote for the individuals you believe will work hard, lead with integrity, and put the best interests of our entire village first.
🗳 Vote March 18

Please get out and vote if you’re able to. Let your voices be heard 💜

This is another reason why I chose to run. I value the opportunity to show not only my daughters, but all young girls and women in our community, that their voices matter and that leadership seats are meant for them too.

We don’t need to shrink ourselves to fit into any room. We are strong, capable, and fully qualified to lead just as anyone else is. Representation matters, and I hope that by stepping forward, I can help create space and encouragement for the next generation of leaders.

My goal is to help lay the groundwork for future women in leadership and to show them that they absolutely can step into those roles especially when they are guided by integrity, purpose, and a genuine desire to serve.

Why am I running for Trustee? It’s an important question, and one I’ve given a great deal of thought to.
The people who reside in the Village of Albion deserve to feel proud of where they live. Those who grew up here should feel proud of where they came from. Albion has been my home for nearly 26 years. I graduated from Albion High School, I work in the village, I coach here, I live here, and I am raising my family here. This community has helped shape who I am, and I care deeply about its future.
I am running because I want to work for and with the people of this village. I believe our local government should be accessible, respectful, and collaborative. My goal is to help foster a Village Board environment where residents feel comfortable sharing their ideas, concerns, and perspectives without fear of being dismissed, talked down to, or made to feel like an inconvenience. Public service is exactly that, service. Elected officials work for all of the people in the village.
I’m not expecting votes simply because people like me. I’m hoping to earn votes because people believe in me and believe that we can work together to create meaningful, positive change together. Real progress happens when a community comes together with mutual respect and a shared vision.
I can’t promise to lower taxes, and I can’t promise to make every decision that pleases everyone that simply isn’t realistic. What I can promise is that I will listen. I will be present. I will approach every conversation with respect and an open mind. And I will always do my best to represent our community in a way that makes the people of Albion proud.
Albion is my home. I am committed to helping it move forward together.

Join us for an informal Town Hall conversation:

Date: Saturday, February 28th
Time: 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Can’t make it to an office hour? This is your chance to stop in, grab a seat, and share your ideas about our village. No speeches. No pressure. Just open conversation about how we can move Albion forward together.

I hope to see you there!
