Young Dems of Southwest Virginia 😊 Senator Warner is kicking off his re-election campaign here in our neck of the woods! Please come out and show support for one of our democratic candidates. There will be food, conversation, and of course the chance to hear the Senator speak 😊 This event will be held Thursday, March 12th, from 6-8PM at the Southwest Virginia Cultural Center & Marketplace. 🚨 Calling All Young Progressives! 🚨

Are you ready to make your voice heard and connect with fellow changemakers? Join us for the Virginia Highlands Young Democrats Interest Meeting!

📅 Date: August 14th
📍 Location: Washington County Public Library
🕕 Time: Right after the Washington County Democrats meeting (which starts at 6PM)

We are looking for young dems between the ages of 16 and 35 who currently vote and/or live in Washington County, Smyth County, or The City of Bristol, VA and are interested in becoming a member of a new organization dedicated to the democratic cause.

Whether you’re passionate about local issues, eager to get involved, or just curious about what we will do, this is your chance to learn more and meet like-minded friends. Bring your ideas, your energy, and your questions!

Also, you are more than welcome to come early at 6PM and be a part of the Washington County Democrats General Meeting where you can see what great things they are up to as we gear up for elections this November! The meeting this Thursday is specifically about the Small Modular Nuclear Reactor plans for Wise County and why we should help them fight against it! Hope to see you there ☺️
