October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Children exposed to domestic violence often show a range of emotional, physical, and social difficulties right away. These effects can influence their daily lives at home, school, and in relationships with others.

Are you ready to become a CASA?

Can you commit to at least one year advocating for a youth or sibling group in foster care?

Can you commit to our initial 30-hour volunteer training, spread out over approximately five weeks, followed by about 5–10 hours per month of ongoing advocacy/training around your schedule?
Are you ready to show up for a kid?

You’ll spend time each month getting to know who they are, visiting with them, and talking with their family, teachers, caregivers, and other important people in their life. You’ll help make sure their needs are known to the court and advocate for the services and outcomes they need.

Are you at least 21 years old, have reliable transportation, and can pass a background and Central Registry check?

Let’s find you a match! From helping a little one in pre-K reach milestones and build a strong foundation for their future, to helping a teenager prepare for life after foster care, there’s a kiddo out there who needs someone like you in their corner.

No experience with the court system needed, we are there with you the whole way!
