SSERWANGA LWANGA OLD STUDENTS ASSOCIATION FORMED ON 13/06/2019, LAUNCHED ON 14/06/2019 AT SSERWANGA LWANGA and REGISTERED AS ASSOCIATION ON 22/8/2019 .

The organising committee for SLOSA DAY OUT has engaged in virtual discussions -in a separate group and deliberated to the core on way forward and how to proceed going forward and concluded as below:
There shall be a SLOSA DAY OUT on 22/11/2019 on Friday at best preferred location-Ambiance Discotheque -Bukesa, Kampala.
Each member to participate is required to contribute only 30,000 ugx. 15,000 UGX shall cater for entrance and drink while 15,000 shall be SLOSA membership fees.
The intention of organizing this event is to fun-fund-fundraise for SLOSA with a short term goal of availing funds for running the association activities and a long term goal of investing the contributions into an asset venture that will yield monthly for the association without recurrent burdening of members with periodic contributions .
*Why AMBIANCE, WHY FRIDAY*
Friday evening/night is a better one for club ambiance if we are targeting the most hype night! It's a campus night with many revellers which can make SLOSA team not bored as they can mix and mingle mingle with flexibility
And Looking at Saturdays, yes they are better days to happen so that people rest on Sundays but largely u can't get an enclosed club happening to blim on Saturday apart from some open bars in kololo and other outskirts of the central business district of Kampala....and yet our target would be an enclosed thing and if we prepare well with good numbers, Ambiance can even give us a good space/a moment to even say a word or two to ourselves as members!
Alternatively, Ambiance also works on Saturdays but not to a hype, it kinda bores.
The committee appreciated all members who proposed a Dinner-which dinner warranted an extra charge while suggested we shall organise for it someday.
