Meet Rima Ziuraitis.
An American volunteer who teaches tactical medicine to Ukrainian soldiers.

Rima sees her mission as being on Ukrainian soil and helping. That’s why she chose tactical medicine. She worked at a medical evacuation and stabilization point near Pokrovsk for some time. “It was an interesting and at the same time difficult experience: seeing soldiers on the worst day of their lives, witnessing severe injuries. I didn’t just provide medical assistance, but also supported them, showing that they weren’t alone with their injuries and pain,” she says.

Currently, Rima works as a tactical medicine instructor, teaching others how to save the lives and health of soldiers. She is confident: it multiplies Ukrainians’ efforts.

"Many Americans have joined the Ukrainian military and are helping to fight for Ukraine's freedom and borders. We will not stop, and you should not stop either!" Rima says.
