Vignette: what is it and why do Ukrainians need it? 🚗

A vignette is a toll road toll in some European countries, such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia, or Austria. For Ukrainians travelling or working abroad by car, it is mandatory to avoid fines (up to 500 euros!). Purchased online or at gas stations, valid from day to year. For example, in the Czech Republic, a 10-day vignette costs ~12 euros. This provides access to highways and saves time.

Віньєтка: що це і чому потрібна українцям? 🚗
Віньєтка — це плата за проїзд платними дорогами в деяких країнах Європи, як Чехія, Словаччина чи Австрія. Для українців, які подорожують чи працюють за кордоном на авто, вона обов’язкова, щоб уникнути штрафів (до 500 євро!). Купується онлайн або на заправках, діє від дня до року. Наприклад, у Чехії 10-денна віньєтка коштує ~12 євро. Це забезпечує доступ до швидкісних трас і економить час.

Customs reform until 2030: what awaits freight carriers?

The Ministry of Finance has developed a customs reform plan with 42 steps and a budget of $1.3 billion.

For carriers in the future: new scanners for trucks, portable cameras in customs officers, IT department for automation.

It is expected to be formalised faster, personnel certification will be required.

In general, Ukraine is preparing for the European Customs Union. 🚚

Реформа митниці до 2030: що чекає вантажних перевізників?

Мінфін розробив план реформи митниці з 42 кроками та бюджетом $1,3 млрд.

Для перевізників у майбутньому: нові сканери для вантажівок, портативні камери в митників, ІТ-відділ для автоматизації.

Очікується швидше оформлення, буде потрібна атестація персоналу.

Взагалі готують Україну до європейського Митного союзу. 🚚
