Uksatse UkSATSE is the Ukrainian air navigation and traffic service provider.

The main mission of UkSATSE is to provide an efficient and safe air navigation services in the Ukrainian airspace and in the airspace over the high seas where the responsibility for providing air traffic services is delegated to Ukraine under the international agreements, subject to the current and future airspace users' needs and operational conditions in the air traffic market both in Ukraine and European Region.

Ukrainian air traffic controllers train to act in non-standard situations that may occur in the Ukrainian airspace because of the increase in air traffic volume during the UEFA Champions League final match in Kyiv.

A few days ago, Dmytro Babeichuk, Director of UkSATSE held a meeting with Michael O’Leary, CEO of Ryanair, in Dublin.
They discussed the issues of cooperation between the airline and UkSATSE. Mr. O’Leary confirmed the airline's interest in performing flights to Ukraine. We hope UkSATSE will start providing air navigation services for Ryanair airline in the very near future.

Ukraine and Poland are going to deepen their cooperation in airspace management co-ordination

Dmytro Babeichuk, Director of UkSATSE and Tadeusz Groholski, Vice President Air Navigation, PANSA signed a Letter of Agreement on co-operation in the airspace use beyond the fixed ATS routes (i.e. military exercises and other activities, which are potentially hazardous to GAT/OAT traffic). www.uksatse.ua/index.php?act=Part&CODE=247&id=394

July, 26 2017. Warsaw. Dmytro Babeichuk, Director of UkSATSE agreed with the leadership of PANSA (Poland) and Oro Navigacija (Lithuania) on further collaboration in the issues of promotion and development of technical co-operation in air navigation.

Among other issues, the Parties have discussed the implementation of a free route airspace concept, aimed at meeting demands of future airspace users and maximizing benefits for all parties. Implementation of FRA concept is a key landmark in achieving free routing across all European airspace on the way to SESAR business trajectories and 4D profiles.

The parties also agreed on continuing close cooperation in the issues of implementation of the Data Link Services and gradual improvement of ATC systems to satisfy continuously growing operational needs and to provide high level of interoperability with adjacent ATS Units.

These and other provisions will be included in the tripartite Memorandum, which the parties are planning to sign in September.

July 25, 2017. Budapest. Dmytro Babeichuk, Director of UkSATSE and Kornél Szepessy, CEO of HungaroControl Pte Ltd Co signed a Memorandum on bilateral co-operation in air navigation between the two ANS providers.

This document outlined the area of cooperation between Ukrainian and Hungarian ANS providers for the next 5 years.

The Parties agreed to collaborate in such main domains as: optimisation of ATM/CNS services provided to the airspace users, development and harmonisation of ATM systems of two countries in line with ICAO Strategy and the European Union and EUROCONTROL Programmes, exchange of best practices of the Parties to provide continuous improvement of safety and quality management systems, mutual consultations and exchange of experience in the field of application of the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/373 laying down common requirements for providers of air traffic management/air navigation services and other air traffic management network functions and their oversight.
