Dear Colleagues,
Not every person we arrest deserves to spend a night in the cells. As police officers, we interact with people from all walks of life, and sometimes people make mistakes. We too are human and can make mistakes. The question is, who arrests us when we err?
We should embrace the art of listening, understanding, and forgiveness. There are petty offences that can be resolved professionally without necessarily locking someone up simply because they failed to do what we expected of them.
This morning, I want to appreciate the officers in Kisii. They took time to listen when I reached out to them concerning someone who needed assistance. Sometimes all a person needs is for an officer to listen. The habit of dismissing people by saying, "I will talk to the perso on the phone," without hearing them out may deny someone the help they genuinely need.

When we listen, show compassion, and exercise discretion where appropriate, we not only serve the public better but also earn respect and blessings from God. Let us never be the reason someone goes down on their knees crying to God because of unfair treatment.
To all officers who choose kindness, fairness, and professionalism in their daily duties, may God bless you abundantly. Your good deeds may go unnoticed by many, but they never go unnoticed by God.

10 things you must check the moment you enter a hotel before you lodge:

My dear, some people enter a hotel room and immediately jump on the bed.

You have confidence. Please check these things!!

1. Lock the door first thing:

Before you start admiring the room, test the lock. Don’t assume “it will lock later.” Security first.

2. Check all exits (very important):

Locate the emergency exit. Don’t wait for “fire” to start looking like a confused athlete.

3. Test the door peephole & chain:

If someone can easily see inside or open it from outside, you are on your own.

4. Check under the bed and inside wardrobes:

Yes, check. Don’t be spiritual about it. Just check.

5. Switch on all lights immediately:

Dark corners in hotels are not romantic; they are suspicious.

6. Test water in bathroom (hot & cold):

Nothing humbles a person like un******ng and discovering “no water.”

7. Check for hidden cameras (especially mirrors & sockets)

That “mirror looking too friendly” deserves attention.

8. Confirm phone or intercom works:

If anything happens, shouting “help!” in 2026 is not a strategy.

9. Check windows and curtains properly:

Some windows open more than expected and life can humble you.

10. Inspect bed, mattress, and sheets:

For hygiene, stains, insects, dèád bôdy and your own peace of mind.

In hotel matters, don’t be too quick to relax.

First observe, then sleep like a responsible adult.

Don't ever fight a Police officer👮 no matter how Angry you are

Even if you think the officer is wrong & you're right. Listen carefully I educate you
fighting Police officer👮 will amount to

~Assault
~Obstruction of a public officer
~Resisting lawful arrest

This can lead to ~ Immediate arrest
~Detention
Criminal charges
If a police officer👮 misbehaves in Kenya:
- Document everything: Note the officer's name, badge number, time, location
- Report to supervisor: Escalate to their senior officer
- File a complaint: Use IPOA (Independent Policing Oversight Authority) complaint form
- Seek legal help: Contact a lawyer or human rights org if needed.

Under the laws of Kenya, a person who assaults, resists, or wilfully obstructs a police officer while the officer is performing lawful duties may face:
A fine of up to KSh 1,000,000
Imprisonment for up to 10 years
Or both a fine and imprisonment
This is provided under Section 103(a) of the National Police Service Act.

Al Jazeera has released a disturbing documentary exposing how Kenyans are allegedly being surveilled through their phones, and how Safaricom may have been enabling it.

According to the documentary, citizens’ phone data has reportedly been shared with security agencies, while spyware has allegedly been used to infiltrate devices and monitor people.

Think about that for a moment.

The same phone you use for M-Pesa, calls, WhatsApp and private family conversations could allegedly be turned into a surveillance tool against you.

This should terrify every Kenyan.

Because this is no longer about politicians.
It’s about ordinary people.

A boda rider criticizing taxes.
A journalist exposing corruption.
A university student tweeting against the government.
A parent complaining about the economy in a WhatsApp group.

If unchecked, Kenya could slowly return to the fear that existed during the Moi era, where people whispered inside homes because they feared the state was listening.

Only this time, the informer is in your pocket.
Your phone. That is why this story matters.

A government that watches its own citizens is not protecting democracy or them.
It is protecting leaders like Ruto.

And once people become afraid to speak freely, freedom dies quietly.

Most men don’t know this

You marry a woman who already has a child.
You take care of that child. Feed the child. Pay school fees, act like the father.

Then one day, the real father, that disappeared man suddenly shows up and you’re shocked when they tell you:
“You are not the legal father of that child.”
Yes. Read that again.

All your love, money, sacrifice legally means nothing because in law, that child still belongs to the biological father.

But here’s where it gets serious
If you’re that husband, there is ONLY one way to secure your place in that child’s life:
👉 Adoption.

And no it’s not as simple as you think.

The biological father must consent
OR
You must prove he abandoned the child
OR
The court must decide based on the best interest of the child

Until that is done?
You are just “helping” not legally recognized.

Now imagine this
