自1954年創立台灣塑膠公司以來，經五十多年不斷的努力經營，目前共計擁有台塑、南亞、台化、台塑石化等百餘家關係企業，分別在台灣、美國、中國、越南、菲律賓及印尼都設有工廠。

本公司需要的人才，均由本公司自行訓練培養，除在工作中實施實務訓練外，並經常舉辦各項管理或技術等專業訓練，以提高人員的素養，進而提高效率及管理能力。
