𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 | 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗼 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗦𝗠𝗘𝘀 📦✨
In line with the celebration of Handog ng Pangulo, the Department of Trade and Industry–Davao City Field Office (DTI-DCFO), through Negosyo Center Calinan, in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) XI, conducted the “Smart Packaging and Labeling Design for MSMEs” on September 14, 2026, at the Negosyo Center Calinan Conference Room, Davao City.
The activity provided micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with practical knowledge and skills on developing effective packaging and labeling designs that can enhance product presentation, improve marketability, and strengthen the competitiveness of their products.
The morning session focused on the principles of smart packaging and labeling, including the importance of attractive, functional, and informative packaging in creating a strong product identity and capturing consumer interest. In the afternoon, participants took part in a hands-on workshop where they applied the concepts learned and worked on their own packaging and labeling designs.
Through initiatives like this, DTI-DCFO, through Negosyo Center Calinan, in partnership with DOST XI, remains committed to empowering MSMEs by strengthening their product development capabilities, enhancing product presentation, and helping them become more competitive and market-ready.
