คณะอาจารย์และนักศึกษาจาก Okayama University ประเทศญี่ปุ่น เข้าเยี่ยมชมการดำเนินงานและร่วมกิจกรรม Workshop ณ ศูนย์วิจัยและพัฒนาพืชผักเขตร้อน🇯🇵 🇹🇭
คณะอาจารย์และนักศึกษาจาก School of Agriculture / Okayama University ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ภายใต้โครงการ Farm Experience Training Program (OKAIMA Program) ได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมการดำเนินงานด้านการอนุรักษ์และการใช้ประโยชน์จากเชื้อพันธุกรรมพืชผัก ของศูนย์วิจัยและพัฒนาพืชผักเขตร้อน ภาควิชาพืชสวน คณะเกษตร กำแพงแสน
โดยมี นายทัศนัย ชัยเพ็ชร รองหัวหน้าศูนย์วิจัยและพัฒนาพืชผักเขตร้อน ให้การต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นและนำคณะเยี่ยมชมการดำเนินงานของศูนย์ฯ
การเยี่ยมชมในครั้งนี้นอกจากจะได้ศึกษางานด้านพันธุกรรมพืช และร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้เชิงวิชาการเพื่อการศึกษาแล้ว คณะผู้เยี่ยมชมยังได้สัมผัสประสบการณ์สุดพิเศษในกิจกรรม "Workshop on Exploring Thai Vegetables" โดยได้ลงแปลงเกษตรจริงเพื่อเก็บเกี่ยวผลผลิตพืชผักสดๆ คุณภาพดีของทางศูนย์ฯ ด้วยตนเอง ก่อนนำวัตถุดิบที่เก็บสดจากต้นมาเข้าครัวปรุงเป็นเมนูอาหาร ถือเป็นการเรียนรู้คุณประโยชน์ของพืชผักเขตร้อนควบคู่ไปกับการเปิดรับวัฒนธรรมอาหารไทยอย่างเข้าถึงและสนุกสนาน 🍅🥬
🇯🇵 🇹🇭 Delegates from Okayama University, Japan, Visit TVRC for Germplasm Operations and Hands-on Workshop
Faculty members and students from the School of Agriculture, Okayama University, Japan, under the Farm Experience Training Program (OKAIMA Program), visited the Tropical Vegetable Research and Development Center (TVRC), Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture at Kamphaeng Saen, to explore its operations on plant germplasm conservation and utilization.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Tassanai Chaipech, Deputy Head of TVRC, who guided them through the center's facilities and ongoing activities.
Beyond studying plant genetics and exchanging academic knowledge, the visitors enjoyed a special experience through the "Workshop on Exploring Thai Vegetables." Participants ventured directly into the fields to harvest fresh, high-quality produce with their own hands before heading to the kitchen to cook traditional dishes. This activity allowed them to discover the nutritional benefits of tropical vegetables while immersing themselves in Thai culinary culture in an engaging, interactive way 🍅🥬
