ผู้บัญชาการทหารอากาศเข้าร่วมการประชุมผู้บัญชาการทหารอากาศอาเซียน ครั้งที่ 23 (23rd ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference : AACC)
เมื่อวันที่ 9 กันยายน 2569 พลอากาศเอก เสกสรร คันธา ผู้บัญชาการทหารอากาศ ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุมผู้บัญชาการทหารอากาศอาเซียน ครั้งที่ 23 (23rd ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference) ผ่านระบบการประชุมทางไกล (VTC) โดยมีกองทัพอากาศฟิลิปปินส์เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการประชุมภายใต้หัวข้อ “การผนึกกำลังกองทัพอากาศอาเซียนสู่การบูรณาการและปฏิบัติการร่วม: ปฏิบัติการเอกภาพเพื่อเสถียรภาพแห่งภูมิภาค (Forging Interoperable and Integrated ASEAN Air Forces: Unified Action for Regional Stability)” ซึ่งการประชุมในครั้งนี้มีผู้บัญชาการทหารอากาศและผู้แทนจากประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนเข้าร่วมอย่างพร้อมเพรียง รวมถึงต้อนรับประเทศติมอร์-เลสเต ในการเข้าร่วมการประชุมครั้งนี้เป็นครั้งแรก
ในการประชุมดังกล่าว ผู้บัญชาการทหารอากาศประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนได้ร่วมกันแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมอง วิสัยทัศน์ และประสบการณ์ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมความพร้อมในการปฏิบัติงานร่วมกัน (Interoperability) และการบูรณาการระหว่างกองทัพอากาศสมาชิก เพื่อให้สามารถรับมือกับภัยคุกคามทางด้านความมั่นคงในรูปแบบต่างๆ ทั้งรูปแบบเดิมและรูปแบบใหม่ วิกฤตการณ์ทางมนุษยธรรม ภัยธรรมชาติ ตลอดจนความท้าทายทางเทคโนโลยีและภัยคุกคามทางไซเบอร์ ซึ่งที่ประชุมเน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของการสร้างความเชื่อมั่น การแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล และการพัฒนาความร่วมมืออย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
นอกจากนี้ ที่ประชุมยังได้ร่วมกันรับรอง กรอบความร่วมมือเพื่อการปฏิบัติงานร่วมกันของกองทัพอากาศอาเซียน (ASEAN Air Force Interoperability Framework - AAFIF) ซึ่งประกอบด้วย 3 เสาหลัก ได้แก่ การศึกษาและการฝึกอบรมร่วมกัน, การฝึกปฏิบัติการและช่วยเหลือทางมนุษยธรรมและบรรเทาสาธารณภัย (HADR), และการบูรณาการด้านเทคโนโลยี โลจิสติกส์ และทรัพยากร พร้อมทั้งรับรอง แนวทางการปฏิบัติงานร่วมกันด้านการศึกษาและการฝึกอบรม (AAFET Interoperability Guidelines) เพื่อใช้เป็นกลไกเริ่มต้นในการขับเคลื่อนความร่วมมืออย่างมีประสิทธิภาพต่อไป
การเข้าร่วมการประชุมครั้งนี้ ผู้บัญชาการทหารอากาศได้แสดงบทบาทอันสำคัญในการร่วมกำหนดทิศทางความร่วมมือและเสนอแนะแนวทางปฏิบัติเพื่อเพิ่มขีดความสามารถของกองทัพอากาศอาเซียน เสริมสร้างความเชื่อมั่นระหว่างกัน และพร้อมที่จะร่วมมือกับกองทัพอากาศประเทศสมาชิกในการดำรงไว้ซึ่งสันติภาพ ความมั่นคง เสถียรภาพ และความเข้มแข็งในภูมิภาคอย่างยั่งยืน

On 9 September 2026, Air Chief Marshal Sakesan Kantha, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, attended the 23rd ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference (AACC) via Video Teleconferencing. Hosted by the Philippine Air Force, the conference was held under the theme “Forging Interoperable and Integrated ASEAN Air Forces: Unified Action for Regional Stability.” The meeting was fully attended by the Air Chiefs and representatives of ASEAN members, and also welcomed Timor-Leste to its first conference.
During the meeting, the ASEAN Air Chiefs exchanged perspectives, visions, and experiences to enhance interoperability and integration among member air forces. The objective was to prepare for various traditional and non-traditional security threats, humanitarian crises, natural disasters, emerging technology challenges, and cybersecurity threats. The conference highlighted the importance of confidence-building, information sharing, and concrete operational cooperation.
Furthermore, the conference adopted the ASEAN Air Force Interoperability Framework (AAFIF), which rests on three key pillars: Common Education and Training; Combined ASEAN Exercises and Operations for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR); and Technological, Logistical, and Resource Integration. The meeting also endorsed the AAFET Interoperability Guidelines to serve as an initial implementing mechanism for effective, long-term cooperation. Through his participation, the Commander-in-Chief played a pivotal role in shaping cooperative frameworks and suggesting practical guidelines to strengthen the ASEAN Air Forces' capabilities. This commitment reinforces mutual trust and reflects Thailand's readiness to collaborate with fellow ASEAN air forces to sustain peace, security, stability, and resilience across the region.
