🌊Chonburi Beach Cleaning Initiative 2026🌊

On March 24, 2026, our PATA Thailand Bangkok University Student Chapter organized a meaningful beach cleaning activity at Wat Mai Noen Phayom, Chonburi. This initiative reflects our commitment to the United Nations SDG 14: Life Below Water, aiming to protect marine ecosystems from pollution and human impact.

From 10:00 AM onward, our team of dedicated volunteers, guided by P’Aom, the leader of the local fishing community worked together with the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, alongside support from UNIHAI Shipyard and Engineering and KLN Reproduction Company.

In just 40 minutes, we successfully collected a total of 383 kilograms of waste, including various types of marine debris that threaten coastal environments. This achievement, made possible with support from partners such as Mr. Artit from the Orange Party, highlights the power of collaboration between students, local communities, and organizations.♻️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and supported this initiative. This experience shows that even small collective actions can create a meaningful impact in preserving our oceans for future generations.✨
The PATA Thailand Bangkok University Student Chapter remains committed to driving sustainability initiatives and inspiring positive environmental change. 🌏💙

Travel is no longer just about ticking destinations off a list , it’s about truly feeling the place 🌿✨

Generation Z is redefining the way we explore the world through slow travel and eco-tourism. Instead of rushing from one hotspot to another, we choose to stay longer, connect deeper, and experience the everyday life of the places we visit. From sharing meals with locals to embracing cultural traditions, travel becomes more meaningful, authentic, and personal.
At the same time, this shift reflects a growing awareness of our impact. By choosing more sustainable and responsible ways to travel, we help reduce overcrowding, protect the environment, and support local communities. It’s not just better for the planet ,it’s better for us too.
Slowing down allows us to breathe, reconnect with nature, and find a sense of balance and well-being that fast travel often overlooks.
In the end, it’s a win–win: for the destinations, for the people who call them home, and for ourselves 🌏💚

Food is one of the best parts of traveling but have you ever stopped to think about what happens when it gets wasted? 🍽️✈️

In this episode, we dive into the hidden impact of food waste in tourism, featuring real interviews with travelers at Chatuchak Weekend Market. Many tourists shared that they often leave food unfinished because of large portion sizes, unfamiliar flavors, or simply the excitement of trying more variety.

What’s even more interesting is how food waste can shape the travel experience itself. Seeing leftover food and waste can make destinations feel less clean and leave visitors with a negative impression.

We also explore practical and innovative solutions from offering smaller portions and smarter food recommendations to creative ideas like discounted leftover meals. Plus, discover how AI technology in hotels and food-saving apps are helping build a more sustainable future for tourism.

At the end of the day, small actions matter. Ordering responsibly, sharing meals, and being mindful of what we consume can all help create a better travel experience for everyone.

Let’s continue to enjoy food while traveling but waste less and travel more sustainably🌍✨
