Movie producer Dela Finn visited Torgbuiga Adzonugaga Amenya Fiti V, the Overlord of the Aflao Traditional Area, on May 18, 2026.

This film is set to premiere on May 30, 2026, at THE UNDERBRIDGE Event Centre in East Legon.

The Volta Regional Minister, Hon James Gunu was in Aflao together with a delegation which included H.E. Gabriel Tanko Kwamigah-Atokple, Hon. Rita Naa Odoley Sowah, Hon. Dzifa Abla Gomashie, Hon. Nicholas Kwabla Worklachie, and H.E. Bright Solo Kumordzie, for the Forst Emergency General Meeting of the Aflao Traditional Council.

The delegation engaged the Aflao Traditional Council, led by Torgbui Adzonugaga Amenya Fiti V, on key development issues and donated cash and other items in support of their work.

The Regional Minister, however, highlighted plans for a 24-hour market in Aflao and introduced the planning officers who will handle the technical work, urging landowners to cooperate with the Assembly to fast-track the project.

He also spoke on ongoing interventions, including efforts by H.E. John Dramani Mahama on the Agavedzi sea defence, the Aflao Market project and the “Big Push” road project.

They appealed to the residents to avoid unauthorized speed ramps, which hinder emergency services.

Yesterday, The Paramount Chief Of Aflao And President Of Kings And Traditional Leaders Of Africa , Torgbui Adzonugaga Amenya Fiti attended a special event.

He was the honored guest at a forum in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. The event was for kings and traditional leaders. The invitation came from the Honorable Minister of Security and Cultural Affairs of the DRC.
