The newly appointed Vice President for the Economic Cluster, Dr. Benjamin Bol Mel Kuol, has announced that his first priority will be ensuring the payment of civil servants’ salaries.
“The first thing I will do is pay salaries for civil servants,”
Benjamin Bol Mel, the Vice President for Economic cluster outline his policy as follows;
1- Salaries of civil servants
His Excellency Vice President, I hope the minister of finance and Economic would been here but Cde. Akuei for revenue is here and I'm serious about putting an end to the issue of Salaries.
2 - Economic reforms
He emphasised that Economic reform is not an easy task because some people who are benefit from corruption would not like it, but through our commitment and by God help we shall win and make Economic reform.
3 - National agriculture conference
Dr. Benjamin Bol as part of his policy is to take the issues of agriculture seriously by organizing national agriculture conference because agriculture is the only backbone of the prosperity of South Sudan.
4 - Individuals who are obstacles to peace
Mr. Vice President also talk on engaging those individuals who are always obstacles to peace and tranquility of the people of South Sudan to accept peace and work together to building nation that we and our children would be proud of.
5 - Youth who are misusing hostile social media(Facebook )to tarnishing the images of their leadership should stop from such behaviour, because it's our time now to engage in positive production.
6- Dr. Benjamin Bol Mel called for total forgiveness if he done wrong to any body whether in direct or direct because today God has open new page.
7- Vice President also called for discipline and respect and also called upon Dinka and Nuer to avoid tribalism because this country belong to all of us 64 tribes.
