Friday 17th, April 2026 - Kuajok Town
Friday this morning, H.E Aluel Garang Garang and Town Mayor, H.W Atek Lual Achuil had led the State Government and the entire Kuajok Town settlers to conducting a cleaning exercise at Dueldit; an extension activity that will sensitize most traders from literal Garbage management. This is an every Friday event launched last month by Warrap State Governor H.E Amb. Bol Wek Agoth as a Public Health Initiative to creating Hygiene Education development to the Town headquarter and its residential areas.
The program was gathered by a comprehensive number of traders and residents across Kuajok Town with active participation as they clear, burn, and gather rubbish alongside government officials.
Dueldit is the largest bowel and a space intact within kuajok town. There are many local and foreign traders that literate their garbage at the site, thus affecting environmental peace and causing threats to public health.
Her Excellency had urged the traders to keep Dueldit bowel very clean and always as it is the new space allocated to sellers with structural materials like grass, poles, bamboo fence making, and et cetra.
"Let us keep Kuajok Town clean." She visualised the thematic line
"Let us adopt this environmental activity, infiltrate it as a culture, and practice positive ways of conducting continuous sanitation activity for our state as it is our collective role. We also urge the County Commissioners to extend this environmental culture down to their respective localities at its highest demand." Stated Her Excellency
The Friday exercise was joined by a round of State Ministers, Hygiene and Sanitation team, Kuajok traders union, and local merchants.
