From 26 to 28 August, renew your intentions through fasting and other acts of worship.

Rabiulawal is the month in which the Prophet s.a.w. was born, inspiring us to strengthen our love for him by following his sunnah.

May Allah accept our fasting and righteous deeds, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us steadfastness in worship. Amin.

Update: Registration deadline has been extended to 31 August 2026.

The Religious Leadership Development Programme (RLDP) was announced by Mufti Dr Nazirudin Mohd Nasir at this year's Syed Isa Semait Scholarship (SISS) & MUIS Scholarship (MS) Award Ceremony on 20 July 2026.

RLDP is developed exclusively for experienced asatizah and emerging talents to support them in strengthening their leadership and deepening their service to the community.

We welcome Tier 1 ARS-certified asatizah to apply now until 24 August 2026.

🌱💛 As announced at the National Day Rally 2026, An-Nur Mosque and Assyafaah Mosque will join Santunan Emas by the end of the year, growing the network to five mosques.

Santunan Emas started at Masjid Al-Muttaqin SG in 2024, together with Islamic education provider Ma:een, and Muhammadiyah Active Ageing Centre.

The programme supports our Muslim seniors and their caregivers through spiritual guidance, active ageing, caregiver education, and community care.

With this growth, the programme aims to reach close to 3,000 seniors weekly through physical and online engagement.

Last weekend, we welcomed madrasah graduates who will soon be pursuing their undergraduate Islamic Studies in the Middle East, together with their parents and guardians, for a pre-departure engagement session.

As they prepare for this exciting new chapter, the session was an opportunity for students and their families to hear practical guidance on adjusting to life and studies overseas, and to better understand the support available to them along the way.

Students also learnt more about how MUIS stays connected with and supports them overseas through our Student Liaison Officers (SLOs), as well as opportunities for their development and future career pathways.

As they deepen their religious knowledge and prepare for their future, MUIS will continue to support our students in their journey and development.

To our students embarking on this journey, we wish you all the very best. May your time abroad be a meaningful and enriching one. ✈️📚

Family is one of Allah’s greatest blessings. But that does not mean every family relationship is easy.

There may be love alongside hurt, closeness alongside distance and situations we wish we could change but cannot.❤️‍🩹

Islam gives us a way to navigate these complexities with faith, wisdom and compassion. It teaches us to honour our responsibilities, preserve ties where we can, respond with ihsan and recognise that setting healthy boundaries does not mean we have stopped caring.

🤍Sometimes, healing looks like reconciliation. Sometimes, it looks like learning to communicate differently. Sometimes, it means accepting what is beyond our control while turning to Allah for strength and peace.

Grief is part of being human. Even the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. experienced loss and deep sorrow.

Through his example, we learn that sabr (patience) is not about hiding our pain, but turning to Allah s.w.t. with hope and trust. The Prophet s.a.w. wept, made dua, and sought strength from Allah.

“Do not falter or grieve, for you will have the upper hand, if you are (true) believers.”
(Surah Ali ’Imran, 3:139)

May Allah grant us steadfast hearts and ease through every hardship. Amin.
