An African American organized an event for the girls who are victims of harassment. She staged a beauty pageant or beauty contest. A competition that mainly focuses on the physical beauty of its contestants, although such contests also incorporate personality, intelligence, talent, and answers to judges' questions as judged criteria. The phrase almost invariably refers only to contests for women and girl that trains and helped them build their confidence to speak up to fight against physical abused, slavery and bullying. From thereon, we came to an idea of bringing Dreamgirls here in Singapore and to lend a hand to all Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) to shape their dreams with the help and support of our family. Learning from their experiences and struggles in life, we served an inspiration to pursue their dreams by means of showcasing themselves in joining Beauty Pageant Events. It was in 27th October 2010 Dreamgirls was founded and the rest became a history. We started recruiting girls to join Dreamgirls Beauty Pageants and which is being held every month of October. Staging their talents with the help of our organization of bringing out the best in them as we work hand in hand to promote our advocacy in helping others in need.
