Project Big Hands Bigger Hearts, a project of the National University of Singapore Volunteers Action Committee, has just successfully concluded its 12th rendition on 24th December 2016.
This year, 16 student volunteers embarked on a trip to Bago City, Philippines from 8th December 2016 to 24th December 2016. The team implemented three main projects namely the National Business Plan Competition - a grant which was awarded to Ramon Torres Ma-ao Sugar Central National High School, Skills Workshop - conducted at Ramon Torres Sagasa National High School, and two Cross Cultural Camps conducted at Teodoro Morada Senior Elementary School and Alianza Elementary School respectively.
The trip would not have been possible without the kind and generous support of our partners and sponsors, Today's Responsive Youth, Singapore's National Youth Council, Youth Corps Singapore, Royal Banner, Domino's Pizza, UT-Ways Freight Services, NUS Office of Student Affairs, and every member of the NUS committee who supported our cause.
