10 years.
Of coffee, of "how's it going", of "I'll get the usual", of "what's new?"
It was a little surreal to stand in Alchemist's new space at Arab street celebrating their 10th year. Our relationship actually goes way back to Pacamara Coffee Roasters and 5oz Cafe (at Sin Ming!)
The usual Alchemist DNA is to let the coffee stand out in a clean minimal environment, so it was a nice change to view their story told by them in 10 chapters, lingering over their design choices.
Level 2 had chapters 1-8, telling of the inward and partner journeys.
Level 3 finished chapters 9 and 10, with a short documentary running and it was fun spotting faces and outlets told in a 10 part narrative (10 years!)
