Art brings us together, and every story deserves to be seen. 🎨💛

Guest-of-Honour Mr Desmond Lee, Minister for Education and Minister-in-Charge of Social Services Integration & Adviser to West Coast - Jurong West GRC GROs and Ms Cassandra Lee, Adviser to West Coast - Jurong West GRC GROs, joined the community at the West Coast PAssionArts Festival to engage with artworks created by inmate artists as part of the Yellow Ribbon Community Arts Festival (YRCAF).

Through the artworks, the community got to discover the creativity and talent of the artists, while gaining a glimpse into their stories and journeys. It was a meaningful reminder of how art can foster inclusion, build understanding and create opportunities for second chances.

At Yellow Ribbon Project, we believe that second chances are made possible when a community comes together. 💛

We were honoured to join our partner, HUG Community Services, at Threads of Unity 2.0 — an intergenerational community fundraising fashion showcase dedicated to uplifting at-risk youths, isolated seniors and ex-offenders as they work towards rebuilding their lives.

From sharing about the Yellow Ribbon Project’s initiatives and receiving a token of appreciation for our partnership, to the fundraising auction featuring gala-themed HOPE Bears jointly supported by Yellow Ribbon Project and Temasek Polytechnic, it was a meaningful evening celebrating unity, hope and the power of giving back. 🧵✨

And of course, the fashion showcase wasn’t complete without some special furry friends taking to the runway! 🐾

Together, we can continue creating a more inclusive community where everyone has the opportunity to contribute, belong and begin again. 🎗️💛
