What does it take to ensure Singapore has enough food, even when disruptions happen?
Singapore imports more than 90% of our food, making us vulnerable to climate change, disease outbreaks and geopolitical developments. In the second chapter of the Singapore Food Story, we’re strengthening our food resilience by not only diversifying imports and building global partnerships but also stockpiling essentials and growing more locally.
We all have a part in this story too — be open to food alternatives, support local produce and F&B outlets under the Farm-to-Table Recognition Programme.
