Marsiling–Yew Tee GRC residents, we would love to hear from you!

Join Ms Hany Soh, MP for Marsiling–Yew Tee GRC (Woodgrove), for a meaningful dialogue on the challenges and needs of families in our community. Share your views on schooling and parenting challenges, community support, and how we can better support children and families.

While adults take part in the dialogue, children can enjoy a fun and meaningful activity:

Heartiest congratulations to Max Maeder on winning the Formula Kite World Championship in Portugal — his third world title!

To win the title a third time is an extraordinary achievement, and Max has done it with the grit, courage and perseverance of a true champion. He has made Singapore proud, and is an inspiration to many young Singaporeans — showing that with hard work, discipline and belief in ourselves, we can go further than we think possible.

I spoke recently with António Costa, President of the European Council and Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, to reaffirm Singapore’s close partnership with the European Union.

Europe is a key player in today’s multipolar world — a major economic bloc, and a leading voice for open trade and a rules-based international order.

At a time when trusted partnerships matter more than ever, Singapore and the EU continue to work closely together. Our economic ties are strong, and we discussed ways to deepen cooperation further — including in digital trade, research and innovation.

Next year marks the 50th anniversary of ASEAN-EU relations. We look forward to strengthening cooperation further, and to building closer links between the EU and ASEAN, as well as between the EU and the CPTPP.

This morning, together with our dedicated branch activists and MP Hany Soh we had a meaningful Mother’s Day walkabout at 888 Plaza and The Woodgrove.

It was heartwarming to meet so many residents, especially the mothers who tirelessly give their love, strength and care to their families every single day. A mother’s love is often quiet and selfless, yet it forms the heart of every home and community.

To all mothers, grandmothers and mother figures — thank you for your endless sacrifices, unwavering support and unconditional love. Today, we celebrate YOU. ❤️
