Please feel free to debate each other and may the best reason win, provisionally. While we believe a vigorous debate is important and valuable, we ask everyone to be rational, responsible and respectful. We believe in civil discourse, such that everyone's experience here would be pleasant and rewarding. We will delete posts that violate our principles of being ratio
nal, responsible and respectful and those that flout the following guidelines. We will also block users who repeatedly violate the principles or abuse this forum. Please do not
(1) defame any person/organisation or attack anyone personally, including name-calling
(2) smear with unsubstantiated allegations
(3) use profanities and vulgar symbols
(4) share offensive and hateful images
(5) make prejudiced comments that harm racial and religious harmony, including anti-immigrant comments
(6) shout with CAPS
(7) spam with long ranting, irrelevant or repetitive comments
(8) spam with advertisements or irrelevant links
(9) troll, or post deliberately disruptive statements or inflammatory language meant to provoke and throw discussion off-track
