Our officers conduct regular patrols at bicycle bays to enhance visibility, deter theft, and provide reassurance to residents. A strong police presence plays an important role in keeping your bicycle safe—but nothing beats these simple precautionary measures from you!

🔐 Bicycle Crime Prevention Tips:
• Use a sturdy lock such as a U-lock
• Secure both the bicycle frame and wheel(s)
• Park at designated bicycle bays that are well-lit and within public view
• Remove detachable items and avoid leaving valuables behind

By taking these small but important steps, we can work together to reduce bicycle theft and keep our neighbourhood safe.

😱 Scammers have impersonated courier companies like NinjaVan, JT express and sent phishing text messages (via Apple IMessage) to victims, claiming delays in delivery.

Govt agencies have similarly been impersonated too, and text messages would claim outstanding fines.

These messages require victims to reply to activate an attached link. The link leads them to a fake payment portal which steals their bank/credit card details. At least 2.2 million have been lost since June 2026. 💸

What you should do:

✅ Access the agency’s official website or app directly instead of clicking unsolicited links

✅ Never enter your card details through links in unsolicited messages

Domestic Guardians (Echo Edition) Workshop 2026

Migrant domestic workers play an important role in our homes and communities. The Domestic Guardians (Echo Edition) Workshop 2026 brings together practical knowledge and useful tips to help participants stay safe, more informed, and better prepared.

Join us on Sunday, 11 October 2026, from 9.00am to 2.00pm at Bishan Community Club Hall for an engaging session covering scam prevention, the dangers of unlicensed moneylending, and general crime prevention.

Admission is free, refreshments will be provided, and participation is limited to 280 attendees.

All migrant domestic workers are welcome. Scan the QR code on the poster to register and be part of a safer, stronger community.

Bishan Community Policing Unit partnered with NTUC FairPrice Junction 8 to strengthen shop theft prevention through the A.S.K. Protocol.

Staff were also equipped with key anti-scam awareness tips to better protect customers and the community.

Together, we can prevent crime, fight scams and keep our neighbourhood safe.
