Another Successful House Transformation at Bedok South
Today, we assisted an elderly aunty whose home had become severely cluttered, posing significant safety and hygiene concerns. Understandably, she was worried and hesitant when we first arrived.
However, as the hours passed, her worries gradually gave way to smiles.
Amid the piles of belongings, our volunteers uncovered some heartwarming treasures , her long-lost jewellery including rings, gold chains and pendants, as well as pails of coins that had been forgotten over the years. These precious finds brought immense joy to aunty.
It was a long and physically demanding day, but our dedicated volunteers , volunteers from 朝雲宫 Chao Ying Kong Temple remained committed throughout, united by a common goal ; to restore aunty’s home to a safer, cleaner and more comfortable living environment.
This mission would not have been possible without the steadfast support of East Coast Town Council, HDB and MND NEAT.
