During the March holidays, the Aptitude Buddy Club at ITE West held a Cooking Interest Group session!🥘 The students began the session with great enthusiasm as they prepared ingredients for a delicious Korean meal. 🇰🇷 They learned how to cook dishes such as Bibimbap, tofu seaweed soup, and Korean "ban-chan" such as seasoned cucumber and bean sprout side dishes. Simmering with flavour – the students were guided step-by-step in cooking tofu seaweed soup, a comforting and nutritious dish!😋

In October, it was a month of learning, sharing, and making a difference for our students at Aptitude Central! 🌟 Our students took what they learned in their Skills Workshops and put it into action with Project Aptitude, a service-learning initiative that brought joy and movement to the seniors at TOUCHPOINT@433.

With a theme of mobility, the students planned fun, interactive activities to encourage the seniors to stay active, while fostering meaningful connections. There was laughter, smiles, and plenty of positive energy throughout the day—and the seniors loved it so much, they’re already asking when the youths will return! 🙌

The theme of ‘You CAN make a difference’ truly came to life as the students stepped out of their comfort zones, bringing their unique strengths to the table and creating lasting impact. This was more than just an event—it was a testament to the power of community and the difference we can all make. 💫

Throwback to September where it marks the month of Skills Workshop at Aptitude Central once again! This time round, our Year 1 students picked up multiple new skills – from learning how to paint and play their very own ukuleles to learning more about functional fitness and even picking up essential outdoor survival skills! The bright smiles on their faces sure do signify a holiday well spent indeed! ✨
