Last month 28 Feb, our team collaborated with NKF Singapore at ๐€๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ˆ๐ง๐œ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐‰๐จ๐› ๐…๐š๐ข๐ซ@๐๐Š๐…, our team spoke with many patients who shared a sobering reality: they didn't know they had kidney disease until it was already too late.

Because symptoms are often "silent," many of the 500,000+ people in Singapore living with the condition are unaware of the risk.

We are incredibly humbled and deeply grateful for the kind words, South West CDC! ๐Ÿ’›

Looking back at where we started during the pandemic, it is truly heartwarming to see how a simple idea to help those in need has grown into a sustained, district-wide movement. Receiving the Peopleโ€™s Association (People's Association) Community Spirit Award is a milestone that belongs as much to our supportive partners as it does to our team.

Partnering with South West CDC has been instrumental in our mission. Together, weโ€™ve been able to connect countless jobseekers with hiring partners, proving that when organizations unite with a shared purpose, incredible things happen.

It was our pleasure to have the Teachers and Staff from Hwa Chong with us at the South West Community Job Fair @ Yuhua on the 3rd and 4th April 2025. They came as volunteers to assist our residents-job seekers on their job applications, job selections as well as encouraging them to expand their job search across our network of hiring employers and recruiters. At the same time, they took the opportunity to embark on a mini-learning journey. We brought the group to meet and interact with different HR partners from various organisations in order to better understand the current changes and challenges in the local hiring landscape. Thank you for spending the afternoon with us!
