Greetings from our new OBS Coney Campus! 👋🎉

Officially opened by Guest-of-Honour Mr Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, the new campus marks an exciting milestone for outdoor adventure education, paving the way for the MOE-OBS Challenge Programme to reach every Secondary 3 student by 2030.

Joining PM Wong at the opening were Mr David Neo 梁振伟, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth & Second Minister for Education, and Ms Goh Hanyan 吴函燕, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth & Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment.

From new team-based challenges to expeditions that can take participants across mainland Singapore and Pulau Ubin, Coney Campus opens up even more possibilities for young people to learn, grow and discover what they can achieve together.

New campus, same great OBS spirit. Here’s to the many adventures ahead at Coney Campus! 🧭💪💚

When W***y joined OBS straight after graduating with a degree in Finance and Accounting in 2010, he never imagined it would kickstart his career in outdoor education.

Fast forward 16 years... he's still here. 🙌

Every new role in OBS brought new opportunities to learn and grow, taking W***y further than he ever imagined. Along the way, he mastered climbing and kayaking, led overseas programmes, and even helped shape the next generation of OBS instructors. 💪

Today, as Assistant Director (Operations Management), he works behind the scenes to ensure every course runs safely and smoothly. While his responsibilities have evolved over the years, one thing has remained unchanged: his passion for helping others grow. 💯

“The most fulfilling part of my role is seeing the meaningful learning experiences we create for every participant. OBS teaches resilience, courage and the confidence to take on challenges, learn from setbacks, and see things from a different perspective.” 💚

P.S. Photos and sound are included for dramatic effect. Every jetty jump is conducted under close supervision, with thorough safety measures in place.
