Who can we turn to when we’re struggling with mental health?
It can feel difficult to ask others for help. But the reality is that sometimes we can’t carry everything on our own, and that’s an entirely normal part of being human. Having the courage to seek help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
This World Su***de Prevention Day, let’s remind one another that it’s okay to reach for support when we need it. This can look like confiding in a friend or asking a family member for advice. However, when things start to feel more unmanageable, sometimes seeking help from beyond our social circles is needed.
If this resonates with you or someone you know, professional support may be helpful. Watch this video to find out more.
📞 Reach out to Allkin Mental Health Service at 6038 4400.
🚨 If you need immediate 24-hour support, call Samaritans of Singapore at 1767.
