رسالة من موظف محلي في السفارة السورية في أبوجا / نيجيريا
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته.
YOUR EXCELLENCY, I trust you and your esteemed family are all doing very well.
I want to start by apologizing for the lengthy write up you are about to read, it is because I have been itching to get the opportunity to communicate with Your Excellency. Although I did not had the opportunity to work under you, therefore you might not know me, but I have heard admirations and praises about you from my colleagues (local staff) at the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Abuja (All the local staff you knew there have either left the Embassy or have been dismissed, except the two security - Nuhu and Sylvester).
It is with topmost joy and gratitude to Allah (SWT) that I write to heartily and sincerely congratulate Your Excellency on your well deserved reinstatement to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic.
I know that you have received waves of congratulatory messages within the last few hours, but I feel like you have to get a congratulatory message from Abuja, the starting point of your defection from the tyrannical defunct regime and joining the Blessed Syrian Revolution.
Your journey throughout the duration of the Syrian Revolution and confronting the defunct regime, was full of sacrifice, patriotism, courage and valour, which embodies a genuine bonafide Muslim Arab. Though what you have done was worthy of emulation and praise, but all the encomiums showered on you will never recompense the actual challenges you overcame. I personally can only say that you are an icon whom I will look up to as an inspiration.
I hope that the leadership of the Ministry will fully utilize your experience and competence in reshaping and restructuring Syrian Diplomacy in way that will reflect the values of Syria and Her People, revitalize the image of country globally, strengthen relations with sister and friendly countries, attract massive valuable investments to the reconstruction process and critical sectors of the economy and serve the communities of Syrian expatriates living abroad.
I wish you all the best as you return to the fold of the diplomatic cycle, and pray that Allah (SWT) will protect and guide you in your personal and professional endeavours.
I truly hope that our path will cross one day so that I can congratulate you in person.

صاحب السعادة، أتمنى أن تكونوا وعائلتكم الكريمة بخير.
أود في البداية أن أعتذر عن الإطالة في هذا المقال، فقد كنتُ أتوق إلى التواصل مع معاليكم. مع أنني لم أتمكن من العمل معكم، ولذلك قد لا تعرفونني، إلا أنني سمعتُ إعجابًا وإشادةً بكم من زملائي (الموظفين المحليين) في سفارة الجمهورية العربية السورية في أبوجا (جميع الموظفين المحليين الذين تعرفونهم هناك إما غادروا السفارة أو فُصلوا، باستثناء رجلي الأمن - نوح وسيلفستر).
ببالغ الفرح والامتنان لله عز وجل، أكتب إليكم لأهنئ معاليكم من أعماق قلبي على إعادتكم المستحقة إلى وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين في الجمهورية العربية السورية.
أعلم أنكم تلقيتم سيلاً من رسائل التهنئة خلال الساعات القليلة الماضية، لكنني أشعر أنكم بحاجة ماسة لرسالة تهنئة من أبوجا، نقطة انطلاق انشقاقكم عن النظام البائد وانضمامكم إلى الثورة السورية المباركة.
كانت رحلتكم طوال فترة الثورة السورية ومواجهتكم للنظام البائد حافلة بالتضحيات والوطنية والشجاعة والإقدام، تجسيداً للرجل العربي المسلم الأصيل. مع أن ما قدمتموه كان جديراً بالاحتذاء والثناء، إلا أن كل الإشادات التي أُغدقت عليكم لن تُوفي التحديات التي تغلبتم عليها. لا يسعني إلا أن أقول إنكم قدوة، وسأظل أعتبركم مصدر إلهامي.
آمل أن تُوظّف قيادة الوزارة خبرتكم وكفاءتكم على أكمل وجه في إعادة تشكيل وهيكلة الدبلوماسية السورية بما يعكس قيم سورية وشعبها، ويُحسّن صورة البلاد عالمياً، ويُعزّز العلاقات مع الدول الشقيقة والصديقة، ويجذب استثمارات ضخمة وقيّمة لعملية إعادة الإعمار والقطاعات الحيوية في الاقتصاد، ويخدم جاليات المغتربين السوريين في الخارج.
أتمنى لكم كل التوفيق في عودتكم إلى السلك الدبلوماسي، وأدعو الله أن يحفظكم ويوفقكم في مساعيكم الشخصية والمهنية.
آمل حقاً أن نلتقي يوماً ما لأتمكن من تهنئتكم شخصياً.

كانت هذه الصفحة مصدر معلوماتي الموثوق، ولكن معاليكم سيتفهم أنني، كوني غير سوري، مُقيّد بالتفاعل مع منشورات الصفحة، ولذلك لم ترى الكثير من الإعجابات أو المشاركات مني.
أرجو أن تبلغوا تحياتي الصادقة لعائلتكم وزملائكم العائدين.
